I also downloaded one off the internet only to get the same result which only confused me further.īoth of them do the same thing: you can enable them, hover over the keys but when you try pressing a key, nothing happens. You know you've completely messed up your OS when the only way to access 50% of the content is to look it up in the search bar) and the other one is the one on the menu bar that is obviously designed for the tablet versions. How does that even make sense? I am running windows 8.1 and my version actually includes different on screen keyboards: one is hidden away in the mess of a ui that is the start screen ( oh easy peasy, just go to start, apps, settings, accessibility, on screen keyboard, and slide the slider to yes.

I load up the driver page and suddenly no response from the controller. I've also experienced this with Nvidia Geforce Experience to my dismay. These are integral to being able to cut the proverbial cord, and for some reason windows does not allow the emulated mouse pointer to click on the keys of the pop up keyboard, or top use alt-tab to switch between apps. My main issue is with the on-screen keyboard and shortcuts such as alt-tab. to get it working, and there is always something that doesn't work. I have been using the likes of joy2key, joy2mouse, xpadder, xbstart etc.
They're not official xbox so but they appear as xbox 360 controllers in the devices. So I'm trying to roll my pc entirely without a keyboard and mouse (the holy grail right?) and I have a wireless and a wired gamepad. This is a really specific issue so if no one has an answer or no one knows, that's fine but it's still worth a try. I have been researching this issue for weeks now and was hoping any of you could help me. I am completely new to AHK and have only been successful in writing the tutorial scripts, and even that was more complicated than it should have.
